The SXS cards and battery can be changed out without removing the camera from the housing. Just remove the back section of the housing and you have quick and easy access to both.

 

Gates has also employed 4 and 8 oz trim weights on the housing so you can adjust the trim and balance to meet your specific needs.

 

The Gates EX1's camera tray makes it very easy to install your camera. No more tools required to mount the camera, and the tray locks into place with two rotating latches. Slick and easy.

The camera mount plate also has two alignment brackets at the back of the plate and the housing has an alignment collar mounted in the front of the housing. This ensures that your camera will always be aligned correctly.
