This housing is compatible with the Sony HDR-HC3. The Gates HC3 Underwater Video Housing features controls for On/OFF, Record, Standby, Zoom, Photo, an internal flip filter, and access to the "assign" button. The assign button can be set to control focus, exposure, or white balance shift. The LCD screen is open and viewable from the back of the housing. This will eliminate the need for an external monitor. Zoom control is accessed via the side of the LCD screen. An optional carry handle is also available which will make general handling of the housing much easier. The Gates HC3 is the perfect travel companion. It's small size allows the housing, lights and ports to all fit within a 1550 Pelican Case. If ordered with a Fathom Imaging Port the case may be a Pelican 1600. Total weight of the system, including pelican case is under 30 lbs.
